Back from the 12 week appt...
And Baby Z is just groovy. he/she had a "nice strong heartbeat". It was DH's first time hearing it and he was   as soon as the dr said "that's your baby". I think it is more real for him now. I gained 3.5 lbs she said that was fine, and told me I could take some Benedryl for my massive lack of sleep and Colace for my lack of bathroom issues. I go back Aug 11 for all the bloodwork and tests for Downs, etc. But overall Baby Z is Marvelous. Im happy.
No sono, so no pics. I was a bit bummed about that but no problem.

i go for my (close to 12 week) on thurs..
She used that I think its called a doppler thing. It looked like an old school walkman with a mic attached to it.
