Back from ER
Today went well. I had my retrieval at RSofNY by my RE Dr. Zapantis. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating. Dr. Z was great as usual.
So 18 retrieved! WOO HOO. We were expecting 12 so I predict only 10-12 of them will be mature but I'll take it. I am hoping for a good fert report. We will most likely do a 5 day transfer on Friday. We are transferring 2.
Things are looking up: exactly one month earlier to the day I had my first IVF and we retrieved 9 eggs and only 5 were mature so this month we have double retrieved. What a difference a month can make. All 5 fertilized last time so I'm hoping all the mature ones fertilize again!
Really hoping this is it for us and we have some to freeze this time!

This cycle I was on a higher dose of Gonal F. Last cycle I started out on 150, then to 225, then to 300. This cycle I was on 300 Gonal F the whole time. The Menopur dose of 150 was the same for both cycles. I stimmed for the same amount of days. I also did not take any birth control. My RE thinks the birth control suppressed me too much last cycle.
