Baby's weight
Can the doctors estimate the babys weight from internal exams?
My last sono was at 31 weeks and baby weighed 3lbs 13 oz., and i'm not getting any more sonos....just wondering if there is any other way they can estimate the baby's weight.

They don't estimate the weight but from feeling my belly from the outside my Dr told me I was having a big baby, she said her guess was he was around 9lbs. We went for a sono at the hospital and she was very close. Then DS was born and he was 9lb 14oz. So a good dr can give his/her educated opinion.

My Dr usually feels my stomach and lets me know where the baby is and how its laying, so I'm sure he can take a guess as to how big he/she is. They can't tell from internals.
