Baby's birthday will (hopefully) be tomorrow
Today is my due date and I had a growth sono and non-stress test today to check where I am at with a view of doing an induction tomorrow. I was shocked to hear that the baby is estimated to weigh around 9 lbs now and I'm having pretty strong contractions every 10 min or so, although I hardly feel them and I'm a "tight" 2 cm dilated, so I have to report to Good Sam at 7:15 a.m. tomorrow to start pitocin.
My Dr. is concerned about me delivering a 9 lb baby vaginally so if the pitocin doesn't get results within 12 hours I'm going to elect to have a c-section. Nobody can believe I have that size of a baby inside me. I only gained 20 lbs and don't look anywhere near 9 months pregnant!
