Babymoon ideas
I need help! We're running out of summer left and because I teach, I can't any time from now until the baby is born to go away (besides Christmas but that's out).
I keep researching places and really don't know what to do. If anyone can help that'd be great. Our budget is ??? because if it's a really great place, we won't mind spending whatever. We just went to Jamaica in April and before that Alaska last August and Las Vegas April 2010. We went to Ireland on our honeymoon and did a roadtrip down south. We have been to the Bahamas twice too many and need a different place. We're definitely going to PR next year for a few weeks so that's out. My husband is bugging me everyday to try and book a place but I don't know!!!
PLEASE HELP!

Re: Babymoon ideas
We went to punta cana, DR for our babymoon. We stayed at Iberostar punta cana/dominicana. (They have 4 of the same chain hotels right next to eacother, they are different price ranges and meet diff. needs like adults only, families, etc.)
We loved it, the water was incredible and the resort was great too. Food was not bad at all for an all-inclusive. And we could not believe the $$, so cheap.
May 2010- 5 nights all inclusive hotel + airfare for 2= $1500 total.

Re: Babymoon ideas
Thanks, ladies! I'm checking now. I wanted to relax and my husband wants to explore and tour places, which I understand because we had a relaxing April break but now I want to relax even more before work Thanks again!

Re: Babymoon ideas
We rented a house in Sandbridge Beach, VA last month and I did absolutely nothing but relax for the whole week. The ride was about 8 hours, which might be a bit long but at 6 months it didn't bother me at all and DH actually had to pee more than I did.
If I didn't want to travel as far I would consider one of the beach towns in Delaware or Maryland like Ocean City, Chesapeake Bay or Rehoboth Beach.

Re: Babymoon ideas
if you would consider a close-by getaway, you could stay over at fire island or montauk or the hamptons for a few days?? it definitely FEELS like you are much further away than you are!

Re: Babymoon ideas
We went to Negil for our babymoon with #1. No babymoon this time. You said you just went to Jamaica so how about St. Lucia? That's where we honeymooned. I wouldn't go anywhere you'd have to do much of anything. I liked the idea of relazxing and hanging out together.

Re: Babymoon ideas
Aruba is amazing!!! You can try that. DH and I went to Florida for ours and it was really relaxing and we had a great time. When we go to the islands I feel like I want to do and see so much so I feel like Florida was best this time around since it was a little more relaxing.
