Re: Babymoon destinations?
We went to Greece, but to be honest, it was booked before we were pregnant. However, since it was pretty much our last significant trip for at least 5 years or so, I'm glad we made it a "big" one.

Just an FYI - Norwegian will not let women cruise if they've entered their 24th week of pregnancy.

Babymoon destinations?
We're going to Costa Rica next week (I'll be 22-23 weeks). We went to Rivera Maya when I was 5 weeks but that we obviously booked before we knew I was pregnant.
We decided to do some place warm during the cold months and making it so that we sit on our A$$E$ for the whole week!!!!

Re: Babymoon destinations?
Our last big trip actually ended up being where we conceived and it was to Europe (Barcelona, Paris, Bruges).
We had planned on doing something for our anniversary in October as a babymoon but I was offered a job and there was a 3 month probation period which basically brought me right up to my "no fly" date... but before our trip plans were squashed we were considering someplace in the Caribbean like Nevis since we've heard great things or going back to Hawaii and just doing one island.

On a related note - has anyone ever been to Palm Beach? We're strongly considering the Four Seasons in Palm Beach for ours.

We actually went to a wedding in palm beach last may when I was 11 weeks preggo. We stayed at the Brazilian court hotel and had a really nice time down there.

You've got to be kidding me? Do I need a doctors note?

Even with a dr's note they won't let you... I really hope you bought travel insurance!!!!!
We would like to take a cruise but I doubt my high risk dr will approve it. I heard he's anti-cruise since you're in the middle of nowhere in case something happens. However, in my first pregnancy when I was not high risk (or didn't know not at the time, actually) I went ok a cruise at 12/13 wks and it was not a problem. I actually had a great time minus having to pee constantly!

Re: Babymoon destinations?
Cape Cod, not too far and at least you can drive there if for any reason you needed to see a doctor or something.

I've been there (live in general area). Honestly, if you're considering palm beach, I'd hands down choose the ritz Carlton (in manalapan/w palm) or The Breakers. They are both way nicer and much better service. All are comparable in price (breakers more $$). The pool area at Four seasons is unimpressive compared to the others, too.

You would need a note clearing you from your doctor if you're less than 24 weeks... If you enter your 24th week before the cruise ends, they won't even let you board. I'm not sure how it works logistically if you try to board, but I wouldn't take the chance! Sorry!

I would go somewhere relaxing where it's easy to get to a bathroom You can fly longer than you can sail, maybe take a plane to Bermuda and stay at a resort!

Babymoon destinations?
We booked a Vegas weekend before we found out I was pregnant ... If all goes well this time I will be 12 weeks when we go ( I was suppose to be 12 weeks the last time I went to Vegas but had a d&c Tuesday and was on the plane Saturday,)
Looking to do Newport Rhode Island before the baby comes in October (fingers crossed)
