Babymoon booked!
DH just booked our flights to Prague & Austria for mid-May!!
I'll be almost 6 mos preggo then, so I hope I'm feeling good and up to some walking!
If anyone's been, please send recco's and any tips for traveling afar/internationally while pregnant. The flight is overnight so if I can't get up to walk around will I wake up a swollen pumpkin in Europe??

Re: Babymoon booked!
That sounds like an awesome trip!
We are going to CA when I'll be about 5 months so I've done a little research on how to stay comfortable.
Book an aisle seat if possible, drink 8 oz. water per hour, get up to walk once per hour - if you can't then exercise your feet by circling them around for a few minutes each every hour, wear compression socks, avoid salt as much as possible on your vacation.
Try not to stress over it, you're going to have an awesome trip!

Wow that will be an amazing trip! I can't get DH to go to Europe, he hates long flights......our "baby moon" will be 5 days in Cape Cod the first week of June, I'm just happy we're going anywhere (it's hard for him to take time off from work).

The cape is sooo pretty, that's going to so nice!!! If I could get DH to take a "relaxing" vacation like that, I would. But he can't stand still for a second.

lol so we have opposite problems! I'm the one who wants to be on the move on vacation and DH wants to sit around a pool all day! I've never been to the Cape so I'm really looking forward to it! And we're supposed to have a room w/ an ocean view. I just hope it's not too chilly when we go (May 31st-June 4th)....but then again if I'm all hormonal I might appreciate it not being too hot! I think I'll be around 20 weeks then....

Re: Babymoon booked!
When I took a red eye to London people reserved a whole row and I wish I did that so I could stretch out and lay down. If you could do that I would suggest doing that.
Your air carrier should also provide you with an in flight meal so you're set on food. Walk around when you can and wear compression socks so you dont get swollen. Drink lots of water.
