Re: baby weight....
I recommend WW.
I joined a number of years ago and lost about 40 lbs - and kept most of it off until I got pregnant this past year.
I just re-joined this week and hopefully it will work again.
ETA - I too feel like a blob - I kept on getting frustrated every time I went to try on some clothes to go back to work. I am keeping that in the back of my mind to keep me motivated.

Re: baby weight....
I tried to do it on my own as well and it didn't work (since I had the materials from when I went last).
They have it now where you can pay $39.95 for a monthly pass, which is a decent savings over $12.95 or $13.95 per week.

Re: baby weight....
I second WW-I lost 27 pounds on it when I joined a few years ago (before I got pregnant with DD).
I've been back on it for 7 weeks and am down 20 lbs.

Re: baby weight....
i've been making a conscious effort to cook high nutrition, low cal foods, avoiding pre packaged things, and just being really aware of what i eat and it makes a really big difference. i've always tried to be aware of what i eat, but slacked on the cooking part (just not that into it), but now with my dd here i want to set a good example for her, so i've been easing myself into being very food and nutrition conscious.
try meal planning, portion control, and making/eating meals that are filling and pack a lot of energy. also aviod pre packaged foods and if you're going to do them (cereal, etc.) pick the good ones as opposed to the bad.
i've been getting a lot of really good recipes from the following sites. they're kind of specialized (one's vegan and the other of gluten free) but there's still a lot of really good dishes to pick through and a lot of others you can easily modify to suit your needs.
nurishing meals fat free vegan

Re: baby weight....
I also recommend getting involved in something active, even if it is a slight lifestyle change.
I am NOT a gym person and WILL NOT stick with that. I even have a treadmill, but it ended up in our basement, unassembled.
My SILs introduced me to hot yoga. I really enjoy it and have started going at least 3 times a week.
I look forward to it because it is also time for ME, which is hard to find when working F/T and taking care of my son.
I have lost a few pounds and I am more concious of what I eat now, and less hungry. Also with this class........you can't really eat for several hours before so that helps too.
By the time I get home I am not super hungry either. I usually just eat something light.
