Baby sock sachets
I was proud of myself and just wanted to share. I made lavender sachets out of baby socks for a sprinkle I threw for my SIL this past weekend. Everyone really liked them and they were pretty easy to make, just time consuming.
I bought a bunch of fancy girl socks from Kohls (we know it's a girl) and 2 lbs. of dried lavender on ebay. That filled 30 pairs of socks.
I sewed the socks shut and then folded them over so they looked like regular socks, then I put each pair in an organza bag with a favor tag. Pink socks went into purple bags and white socks into pink bags.
I could kick myself for not taking better pics of them before the party, and I gave SIL all the extras so I can't take pics now.
You can kind of see them at each place setting. I also made the diaper cakes as centerpieces, and now my brother and SIL have about 200 diapers to use for the baby.
