baby shower theme question
throwing a baby shower for a friend.... sugar and spice theme for a baby girl. (Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what little girls are made of")
We have plenty of sugar: cake, cupcakes, candy, chocolate lolly pops, etc
How do we tie in the "spice?"
Any suggestions

how about some cider with cinnamon, or oddly spiced sweets (like chocolate with some chipotle seasonings)

i would definitely go with cinnamon candies (red hots/hot tomales), and spicy chocolate like the previous poster suggested
they also make spice drops which are spicy gum drops and you can put out minty stuff too

you could use these as favors and just use a simple color scheme to tie them in. you can add spice to the sweet with ginger snap cookies

I would put cinnamon sticks in the centerpieces. Especially if this is coming up soon, it would go with the fall/winter season.
