baby shower games
What did/will you play at yours?
Ive only been to 2 baby showers in my life. I was just at one this weekend and they had baby food on a plate and you had to guess what the 7 flavors were and whoever had the most won a prize. I thought it was cute. It was at someone's house. I dont know if you could easily do this game at a restaurant though..

Re: baby shower games
at mine we did a prediction sheet (not really a game) but DH and i made up a sheet of questions and we are gonna save everyones sheets in a binder for future reference.
we played this candy game. it was pregnancy terms and you had to match them up with types of candy. the person with the correrct answer won that candy bar (i.e. contractions = whoppers, twins = twix, umbilical cord = twizzlers)
we also had a "measure mommy's belly" game where you guess how big my belly is with this measuring tape but we ran out of time

So far we're only doing onesie decorating, but I've been thinking about doing a time capsale. All guest bring something from 2011. I would do the bingo game, but I'm not opening gifts, the will be wrapped in clear wrapping paper. Also we're doing the diaper raffle.

We're going to do Bingo Guess the Celebrity Baby Clothes pin game (can't say the word "baby", if you do you get your clothespin stolen)

We did this, played Bingo, had those baby shower scratch offs that you get from Party City, and Guess the Celebrity Baby.

Re: baby shower games
We did baby shower bingo
Clothespin game
Since we had a safari theme -- we had game sheets made up and there were 2 games on them. Match the baby name to the adult animal. (Eg - lion > cub, frog > tadpole). The other one was match the gestation period with the animal.
My sister got a piggy bank and told everyone to put in the amount of change that was equal to their age in it. Then everyone had to write a guess as to how much they thought was in the piggy bank. Someone counted it and the person closest got a prize.
