Baby Shoes??
So when is it really time for a baby to start wearing shoes??
DS is 7 months now, but not even crawling. Is it really necessary for a baby to wear shoes?? Any advice is appreciated

Once he started pulling up I went and got him stride rites. He was walking not long after.

When your little one starts walking, the best thing is to be barefoot. Then, I'd go to Stride Rite and get a nice pair of walking shoes. They will measure the foot and determine what size and width you need.

I don't think a baby needs shoes til they're walking. That being said, I have about 5 pairs of "shoes" for Katie...none of which have hard soles and they are totally for dress up only. I love them

this is a debate I have with my mom and mil all the time.
I like to keep him barefoot esp in this hot weather I love seeing his toes.
My mom is always complaining that it is embarassing to have him out in public barefoot.
btw he is 9 months

I just got my 10 month old his first pair of Stride Rites.  He's been pulling up and cruising for about a month.
