baby pool help
Some of my students want to start a baby pool for me, but I don't know how to set it up. Normally you put money into a pool and then the winner takes all. What are some alternatives that I could do in school? Obviously I won't be working when the winner is revealed so what kind of prize should I arrange?

When we do the baby pools in my school we usually have one winner but they usually buy a nice gift for the new baby.
Depending on the situation we do sex, date, weight, and length.

For students maybe the prize could be a free 100 on a quiz or two free homework passes...obviously you can't involve money

You could set it up where you make a calendar of the 2 weeks before and after your EDD. You're actual DD would be blocked out so if the baby were born on that day all the $ would go to DC. Then people can pick EDD, you can also make variations like splitting each day in half and people need to pick the day and boy or girl. Something along those lines. And I like the free HW pass idea.
