Baby pinching to soothe? Any experiences?
I notice that when I'm trying to settle my DS for naps and when he wakes at night, he pinches my neck as he's falling asleep. I've got little scratches all over me! I've been trying to give him a lovey, but he doesn't seem interested.
Anyone have the same experience?

Yes...and this only started around 8-9 months or so...but she still does it at 13 months

YES! My dd has done this forveer and still does sometime sat 3.5. she will do it to anyone laying next to her or even herself. I guess its just something they will grow out of.

Interesting because DS has been doing this for about 3 weeks or so now, and he'll be 9 months next week... Hmmm....

My cousin did this to my aunt and continued to do so through her childhood (and I still catch her doing it occasionally, she's 19).

my dd is almost 2.5. she's been falling asleep by sticking her hand in my armpit and pinching me for what seems like forever. and i can always tell when she is tried, her hand is up my sleeve. LOL i hope she outgrows it soon, it hurts.

Yup, DS has been doing this for a couple of months. He also bangs on my chest a bit then nuzzles his head there almost as if to say... you have small boobs and I'm trying to sofen it up to make me comfy 
He usually scratches and pinches my kneck and chest

He did it for a little while when he was nursing. I actually had bruises on my boobs But, he out grew it in a month or so.
