Baby monitor causing a buzzing noise when hi-hats are on?
Does anyone else have this problem? When we first got the monitor, we did not have a problem. The camera part is, obviously in DS's room. We used to keep the hi-hats dimmed in there when he slept. We started to notice a low buzzing noise but it would stop when we shut the hi-hats completely or if we turned off the camera/receiver. I thought that the baby might be bothered by it, as a baby's hearing is more sensitive than ours. Now I have noticed that when we keep the monitor on in our bedroom, if the hi-hats are on, they buzz. We had a licensed electrician install the hi-hats. We have not had any other problems with them. Should we call him? Has anyone else noticed this? Is it the casing in the hi-hats?
PS--It is bad enough that I have the possessed Learning Puppy and a haunted Fisher Price farm toy. Just kidding about that part but I am having the problem with the hi-hats and baby monitor.

that sounds annoying! It is the Summers video monitor? I dont have the problem with lights but I cant talk on my phone near the monitor

I dont think it is the baby monitor. We just installed hi hats this weekend, and the lights buzz when they are dimmed low.
We didn't turn on our monitor for the first time until last night. So I know it wasn't the monitor making the buzzing in our house.

Yes. It's the Summer video monitor. We like it otherwise!

We tested it by unplugging the monitor. This is worse than the slight buzz when the hi-hats are dimmed. I have heard of that.

I would imagine it's related to the fact that they're on a dimmer. Does the monitor buzz when the lights are on all the way?
