baby HATES the stroller
what do i do?? my 6 month old screams after beign in his stroller for 5 minutes. it is so embarassing! i took him to the mall yesterday and saw a million babies hanging out in their strollers happily, while my boy screamed! i ended up giving in to him and putting him in the bjorn. he LOVES the bjorn but he is 18 pounds and i can't do it forever. what should i do?

occasionally it will distract him for a few minutes but then he freaks out. straightens his back out and screams. oh boy...

What stroller do you have? Maybe it isn't comfortable for him - my DD hated the maclaren and I don't think it is very comfortable - she would scream in that one but would be happy in our other ones.
Do you give him toys? I always had 1-2 toys or teethers (sophie) on a bottle strap in the stroller so they would have something to entertain them.
Some children just don't sit quietly it is just the way they are. My girls didn't like the stroller unless it was moving - if we stopped they got restless.

is he still in the infant carrier?
is the back of the seat straight up?
do his legs hang over?
same babies like longer seats so their legs arent hanging and like to sit straight up.
i went through tons of strollers before i found one that DS liked. my DD was never picky.

i have the city mini and i guess it is a little slouchy. his legs hang over just a little but he does kind of sink into the seat. i guess we'll hit up buy buy baby tomorrow to try out some new strollers. ugh...

He will grow into the City Mini. I didn't put my son in it until almost 7 months.
As for my first son, he always hated the stroller. The only thing that kept him occupied was snacks, but that was closer to a year and older.
