Does anyone have retractable baby gates? DH likes this concept...but does anyone have any input on them? retractable gates

We have a few but I like the 'Dream Baby Extra-Tall Swing Closed Security Gate' the best.

We have the Supergate
It screws into the wall, and covers a very wide opening, which is what we needed.

I have been looking into these as well for my stairs. They get in the way less I thing but I dont know anyone who has them and I also dont see them in many stores. I see them mostly just online.
