I would NOT recommend this one. It was goodup until the time he learned how to climb

We have the gates that have the pedals on the bottom, and they are GREAT! Our son (who is 5) couldn't open them until he was 4, because you need to put A LOT of pressure on the pedal to get them open. My daughter, who is 18 months, climbs them, but she cannot get them open. They fasten securely to the wall (no holes or anything, just screws with plastic at the end) and they are terrific!

we used this one too, its GREAT ny son could climb every other gate but this!

your little one is very strong! You should send that piture to the gate manufacturer. He is so cute.
I think I am going to get the Safety First top of stairs with the light from BRU.
