Baby Gap Sizing question
how true to their size chart are there?
I wanted to get this for my DD to come home in
but the sizing for NB is up to 7lbs, 17"
my DD #1 was 6lb1oz, but 19.5"
Should I go with NB or 0-3mo (7-12lbs; 17-23")

Re: Baby Gap Sizing question
my DS was born 7lbs 14oz, 21" - he never wore NB. I'd get 0-3m...it may shrink when you wash it, too.

Re: Baby Gap Sizing question
I would go with 0-3 just to get more use out of it. DD was 9.10 and she wore newborn for about a month.

Re: Baby Gap Sizing question
good point about gettting more wear out of it.
I feel like my DD was in NB stuff for so long, but who can remember
Plus my luck #2 will be bigger

Re: Baby Gap Sizing question
Can you buy both and return the size that wont work? DD came 3 weeks early and all I had was 0-3 month clothes, nothing fit! She came home is an outfit that she was floating in! I wish I had just one newborn outfit as a backup. She ended up needing newborn clothes for the first month or so.

Re: Baby Gap Sizing question
I find Gap tends to run a little big and longer, which I actually love since my DD's a giant. I'd still get 0-3 though so that you can get more wear out of it. I had PJ's like those but the ones I had without feet, DD can still wear them now - they're like shorts on her now, but it's actually good for the summer - the fabric is nice and stretchy and thin and doesn't seem to shrink. Carter's I find shrinks a lot.
