Baby eye color changing

If your baby's eye color changed from when they were born when did they start changing?

Was it gradual or did they just change?

DS has dark blue eyes now and I'm hoping they don't change but I was wondering if they are, when it would happen.

They dont change over night...it's a gradual type of thing.

Generally speaking if they start to get lighter than from when he was first born you can assume that his eyes will be some variation of blue, green, or hazel.

Eyes dont get lighter and then get darker...

But this is only a generality..there are exceptions too.

my DS is know 22 mos and I can still see his eyes changing, they started off darkish blue and even at 1 yr old I couldn't tell what color they would be, they are a hazel know a greenish brown with a tint of blue still in them, so who knows what they will turn to.

my son had blue eyes for about 3 years and then they turned green...

Blue to hazel at 14 months with DD#1

She is 8 years old and they are hazel

DD had blue eyes when she was born at now at 6 mths they are a greenish/hazel color. They vary each day.

Ds were a gray blue when he was born. They became lighter and lighter over the past few months and now have a green center. I think he will have my eyes
