Baby earrings- for those who have gotten DD's ears pierced ( question)
DD still has the little gold balls that the ped put in her ears....
For her 1st birthday gift, we are going to get her a pair of little diamond studs..Where would I be able to get the same type as the ones she has- that lock on the back  ??
I have diamond studs that have the screw on backs, but I'm thinking that those would be tough to get on her...

My mother in law got some custom made with a backing thats good for her..I think any jeweler could get them made on a setting and backing that won't be the screw back

Thats good to know....I didn't know if the back itself is what locked it on, or if there was a groove or something on the post...

DD's screw on. I haven't put them on her yet because she wont sit still long enough

I found the screw-ons to be a PITA. I got her a pair if huggies and they are a lot easier.

Are huggies most likely the type she has now ( they have kind of like a groove or something that keeps them from popping off) ? Ideally thats what I would like again...

It's actually both. Most posts (look at your own) have a groove that the back locks into.

my dd got a pair of diamond earrings for Xmas from my inlaws..they are screw backs, and i didnt want them originally..but it worked out..although i will say it was like surgery putting them in, and she was screaming her head off..

These are the ones DD has -
They look like hoops - but they "hug" the ears and don't dangle.
I got them online at Loveivy
