baby bottles?

I'm due in Nov with twins and working on my registry....there are soooo many baby bottles to choose from.

Which ones did you like or are currently using? Also, how many bottles would i need for twins?

I plan on breastfeeding and pumping. So far i registered for the Medela feeding and storage kit but that only comes with 3 bottles.

Re: baby bottles?

I would buy 1of a few different bottles. Every baby is different & you don't know which one your twins will like. After trying many bottles we ended up sticking with born free.

Re: baby bottles?

I bought one or two of a few kinds. I wound up sticking with the Avent and they worked the best for me. He didn't really have bottles at the start too often so I didn't worry about the anticolic ones. I thought I would love the drop ins but, I didn't.

I "think" the avent ones were good for minimizing nipple confusion.

Re: baby bottles?

I used the medela bottles for the pumped BM and Playtex Ventaire for the formula (I supplement). DS really like the Playtex Ventaire.

We also use Born Free. He takes either kind.

Re: baby bottles?

I agree with the other ladies ~ I would register for a couple of different bottles (every baby is different) My DS and now my DD did great with the Dr. Brown's.

Re: baby bottles?

I breastfeed and pump. We primarily use a combo of dr. Brown wide necks and breastflow by the first years. I usually only pump into medela and everyonce he will drink from the medela bottle .

baby bottles?

i have twins and i used the playtex drop ins. you dont have to wash the base- only the nipples. so i invested in a ton of nipples and liners so it was super easy and saved time.

i did formula and i liked to have the bottles ready to grab from the fridge, so i invested in about 14 4oz playtex drop ins bottles and 14 slow nipples in the beginning. i also happen to think that if you like the playtex, the babies r us brand bottles and nipples are interchangable with playtex and just as good!
