Baby Bedding...
How necessary is the matching blanket...Im having a set made and am thinking I may omit the blanket to save some $...Does anyone ever use it or is it just for decoration?

I actually never used the blanket that came in the bedding set. I found it to be too hard of a material (not sure what they would make yours out of).
I preferred to use a supersoft cotton blanket, or something that was homemade.

I'd say it's mostly decorative. I'm having a set made too and I ended up ordering the blanket. But I was definitely on the fence about it.
