Baby Bargains Book
I keep seeing references to the "baby bargains book". What is it exactly? would you recommend it ? and is there more than one book? Is it the one by Denise and Alan Fields?

Its a great book! It helped me a bunch with registering.
They rate all baby items for you based on real mothers and fathers opinions. Its like the consumer reports of baby stuff.
You can get it at any book store and yes, that is the correct book but make sure you purchase the latest edition (April 2011).

soooo helpful with finding out all the pro's and con's of everything out there and helping navigate through all the 'must have's and 'not so important to have'
its like consumer reports for baby stuff
i highly recommend!!

I have it and find it helpful. sometimes I winder if they are getting paid by certain vendors to push them, but overall it is very helpful.
get the newest edition on amazon or Barnes website, its much cheaper then in the store, I made that mistake!

At first I thought it was useless since I made most of my registry choices by using amazon reviews but when it came to picking out furniture, mattress, bedding, glider, etc, I found it very helpful.

i find it very helpful - registering is so overwhelming and it was really great to use as a guide - even for simply narrowing down the millions of options out there!
