Re: baby acne
Emily had it BAD. It was the worst that I've ever seen.
We tried the J&J baby shampoo which a lot of people try but that only made it worse.
It was very red and enflamed so we went to the doctor and he said hydrocortisone cream 1% so we got that and within 1-2 treatments it improved.
For most babies if you leave it alone it eventually goes away.
ETA a pic of how bad it was just to give you a point of reference... Image Attachment(s):

Talia had it really badly also - just leave it be it will go away on its own around 6 weeks or so.

Re: baby acne
It eventually goes away on itself. If you want quick but temporary relief, put cortozone on her face. That will make it clear up over night. I would only recommend this if you have a photo shoot planned or something special. They say not to use cortozone too much but my Dr. said it's fine to use for no more than 2x a day for a week. I'd still be careful though.
Besides that, you can use just plain water to wash and then aveeno cream (found in BRU). Doesn't help much but keeps her clean.

Re: baby acne
My niece who is now 2 months old had it really bad and it cleared up on it's own. Her skin looks completely clear now!
