Baby acne?
DS is 4 weeks old. For the past week or so, his face has been covered in little pimples. Did anyone else's DC have baby acne? How long did it last? I assume it will go away on its own and there's nothing I can put on it to help clear it up.

My DD had HORRIBLE baby acne. It peaked at 6 Weeks and started to go away after that. Now at 13 Weeks its all gone. I just kept her face clean and would put a little aquaphor when it was dry. It really just needs to run its course. HTH

My DS had it and it looked terrible. My ped told me to put cortaid on it and it went away.

sounds like she still has some of your hormones in her system. Caould take several months to flush them out (this is so normal)
My dd is 12 mnts and the cold weather will give her a red-ish rash on her cheeks so I have to keep her skin moisturized.

hey brooke! my ds' acne was really bad at 4 weeks. by 6 weeks it was a lot better and now at 8 weeks it's gone. I used a little bit of Baby Aquaphor.

DS had it last week
the dr. said it is totally normal and varies from day to day
it can totally go away one day and then be really bad the next
some people say its from the hormones he/she isnt getting from you anymore

Landon's acne lasted for about a month. it was gone by 8 weeks. I didn't put anything on it.

so wierd, but my dd had this when she literally just came out...and then like 3 days old it was gone...
i remember asking in the delivery room what it was..and the nurse told me baby acne, i was alil upset..so i asked how long it would last and she told me it would get worse before it got better..but then like i said..it was gone..its pretty odd..
her skin though is soooo dry from low amnio fluid..ive been using cream but nothing helps..

Ryan had it soooo bad. And I never wanted to put anything on it. Ped finally said washing it with reg baby soap would help clear it up. And he was so right. Washed it every AM and PM with a soapy wash cloth. Within days it was completely cleared up.

DD had it and by 8 weeks, it was gone. Their little bodies are trying to get rid of our hormones.
