Babies R Us -- good experience returning!
I know that most people vent about BRU, and it made me so nervous that it was the only registry we had for our LO. Having a BBB one just wasn't feasible since most family don't live near one and I'm not a fan of Target. So I was petrified of how it would be when we did any returns and I wanted to come on and let people know that might have the same fears, that we had a great experience last night.
Just some tips for anyone -- if you have a BRU registry and things don't come off and you get them at your shower, or you get items that weren't on the registry but you know were bought from BRU....the manual addition/deletion function is your best friend!
It requires a little more organization, but I think it definitely saved me a lot of headache. Anything that I needed to return or we had doubles that either didn't come off as doubles or weren't listed and we didn't have receipts for....I took the time to look them up online and add them to the registry. Then I edited the registry to show them as purchased.
This really made a big difference and we were able to return everything we had to, without any hiccups. It was quick & painless and definitely easier than I was lead to believe when reading these boards!

I am glad you had a good experience, and for most items I have had good experiences too, but...... regardless of it being on the registry, regardless of you having a reciept, beware that you will get the LOWEST price if was purchased 90 days prior to you returning.

Also there is a limit of things you can return. If you reach your limit, you can't return anything without a receipt.

I had a good experience returning with BRU as well. I wasn't aware of any "limit" and I returned a bunch of things (I was registered at both places but, most of my stuff came from BRU since it was more convenient for my guests).

That's a really great idea!! I returned a bunch of things to BRU without a problem also. Some of them were on my registry and some of them weren't and I had no issues.
