babies and pools
When is the earliest you can put your baby in a swimming pool? I'm having a July and was wondering if at all she could go in the pool this summer?

Re: babies and pools
I'm not sure the guidelines, but I would probably wait 3 or 4 months before putting a new baby in a pool. Pools can be chilly even to adults. Plus the chemicals can't be good to a newborn with no shots.

I'm due in July also and I'm going to wait until next summer for the pool. If he was a few months older in the summer, then I would consider it.

I would wait a few months. Untile the baby has had their first round of shots at least.

My cousin was put in a pool and has been swimming since she was 3 months old.
