B-O-M-B-E-D my 1 hour
I'm so ******!! I thought that even with the passing out (which I assume was because they also took so much blood for my 3rd tri blood screening) I would pass. Oh well. I wanted to get it overwith before Thanksgiving so I can eat dessert to my heart's content on Thursday so I go Wed morning for the 3 hr.
Wish me luck...I'm gonna neeed it I think.

FWIW, I got a 159 and passed my 3 hour.
I got a 151 on my one hour and passed my 3 hour.

FWIW, I got a 159 and passed my 3 hour.
I'm so mad at this point that I have to take a day off of work for this that nothing much is going to make me feel better, but thank you....159 is close to my score so I guess the situation isn't totally bleak.

I was 159, my Dr. said I just missed the passing cut-off (which was 140). She said 159 wasn't that bad. However, I did end up failing the 3 hour, pretty badly. It was the 2nd hour that really did me in.
Good luck on the 3 hour! You can still pass it!

Luckily my dr doesn't process the results right in the office so I probably won't know my score until Friday, so yes, Thanksgiving I will be eating all the dessert and sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce I can eat...here's hoping it's not my last piece of cake and pie till the baby.

Sorry! Didn't mean to do that. Don't go by me though, I did have issues prior to being pregnant (PCOS, insulin resistant, etc). My Dr. did say most women she sees who just miss the cut-off usually go on to pass the 3 hour.
I'm now on a low carb diet, and I test my blood 4 times per day (today is the first day for me!) If my blood sugars stay within normal range, that's all I have to do until I have the baby. After a few weeks, they'll look at my numbers and decide if I need insulin. I'm hoping not!

Bombing is if you got above 200.... which is what I got. The doctor didn't even want me to take the 3 hour but diagnosed me with GD and sent me to a perinatologist. :P

lol...so I was being a bit dramatic then huh??  Well that makes me feel a bit better then.
I'm so sorry for you though. What does the perinatologist do for you that's different than your OB?
