awaiting word from dr

i have been having some serious swelling in my right ankle. on friday they sent me for a doppler vascular since it was not bilaterla swelling there was concern for a blood clot, doppler was clear, but i still have numbness and pulling in my heel that make my calf go numb so my ob recommended i go to a podiatrist, well i went yesterday,he stated i developed tarsal tunnel syndrome, the water in my ankle is putting pressure on my nerve so everytime i flex my foot it pinches the nerve. the podiatrist was faxing the report to ob , im waiting to hear if he will take me out on bedrest becuase the 1 1/2 drive each way to work by the time i arrive my foot is numb with pins and needles, and cold to touch!! now i dread telling my boss i was going to try to stay til the 18th but my health comes first she is not going to be happy!!

sorry youre going through that... but youre right your health is more important...hopefully your boss understands that!
