Avery labels question
I feel like an idiot, I can't figure it out!!
I'm trying to put clip art in the corner of the label on my return addresses and then have my address next to it.
It's not letting me put it directly to the right of the picture, but below it and to the right.
I'm getting so frustrated and I'm sure it's a little thing that I'm not doing.
Where is this button when you need it?

Re: Avery labels question
right click on the picture to format the image. On the prompt box, one of the tabs will be layout. Choose "tight".
Let me know if it works>

Re: Avery labels question
I'm assuming you are using word. Go to the toolbar - you will see a little box with four squares and a pencil. If you bring you mouse over it, it will say "Tables and Borders." Click on it.
A new box will open. Run you mouse along the bottom icons. The third icon will say split cells. Click on it. Change the number of columns to "2."
You can then adjust the size of colums by moving the lines. I don't know how to apply the 2 columns to the whole page, so I just kept copying and pasting.

Re: Avery labels question
Or if you go to avery.com, under the purple software/templates menu at the top you can select predesigned templates for your labels.
This link is for 5160/8160 labels
I usually click the green link in the upper right of this page to make my own with their templates.MOre designs to print online I pick any one at random that has a clip art image where I want it (left or right). Then on the next page you can change the clip art and they have TONS to pick from, add in addresses, change the font, color and size of the font. It will set it up for you as a pdf and then you can print it out.
Hope that makes sense.
