August Mommies-Who's left and how are you doing?

I am 38 week and my c-section is scheduled for next Thursday the 25th. I am completely effaced but no dilation at all . Thought Monday was 'the day' with the strong contractions I was having but nope. NST and cervix check tomorrow but he seems pretty happy in there. He was doing gymnastics last night at 8+lbs and was painful, can't believe he even still has room to move.

The polyhydramnios is making my swelling and fluid rentention worse but I know the end is in sight! DS will be in whether he likes it or not next Thursday unless he decides to come early. He is already over 8lbs.

How are you doing??

I'm still here! I'm having a c section on Monday, I can't wait! I'm so uncomfortable and my pelvis is extremely sore, hurts to even walk. My lil guy is measuring close to 8lbs as well. My feet and legs are so swollen to the point that they have become itchy. Only a few more days to go.

I am 38 wekks as well. Going to the OB tomorrow and will hopefully get some news of progress. Last week there was no dilation. I'm very uncomfortable. Lots of cramping, back pain and I think braxton hicks started last night. My alst day of work will be Friday!!! Hope makes his arrival soon!

Hi girls!!! I am now 40 weeks and 2 days Yesterday I had an internal and it was so terribly painful- pinchy and scratchy. My dr. couldn't get specific details, but said he felt that I was minimally open I went back today to have my fluids checked and a stress test. The nurses were uneasy about the stress test so they sent me to the hospital to have a longer one. My LO must have still been sleeping in the office because in the hospital the machine showed lots of movement and heartbeat flux....and irregular contractions (which I barely felt). My doctor was there and sent me home. Since I have been home, I have been feeling contractions, so I am hoping SOMETHING is going on. If I make it to next week's appts (Wed & Thurs) the doctor will set up an induction for early the following week, unless the baby is too big then I will have a c-section. My brain is on overload I just want to hold my baby already and stop getting the phone calls/texts about where this baby is Sorry this was so long!

Still here - c/s is scheduled for next friday.

I feel like I have 24/7 BH - I'm so uncomfortable.


had an internal Monday and OB actually seemed that I might start before next Friday (something he didn't really say with my first two)


She was over 7 pounds at 35 weeks. OB is predicting another 10 pound baby

I'm still here. I'll be 39w tomorrow. Nothing much going on. Having some Braxton-Hicks, but I've had them since 22w so that's nothing new. No contractions. Had a really uncomfortable week last week where baby was head-butting my bladder and settled on the back of my pelvis, making walking nearly impossible. But both of those things went away a day or two ago. Maybe she shifted positions? I hope she's still head down like she's supposed to be.

It's so hard, every minute of every day thinking, "I wonder if it's gonna happen now?" I hate surprises!

At 39 weeks, I am still here too!!! Tomorrow I go for my pre-surgical testing and then have c/s scheduled for this Friday! I can't believe it almost over and that in 2 days I will have 2 DS's!!! Very excited, but totally done being pregnant and cant wait for it to be over!

38w5d for me......c section all set for Saturday 9a bc baby is still completely breech!

Hi ladies,
I am 38 wks and 2 days. I have been having a lot of discomfort due to stomach issues and contractions. I saw the doctor on Monday and no progress. I am just emotionally and physically drained. Baby is weighing 8 pds 2 ounces! Good luck to all of you!

I'm still here. I am 38w5d. I go to the dr tomorrow to see if there is any progress. I am due on th 26th so we will see what happens. I hope there is something. Good luck to you all!

I'm still here too...38W 4 days. 1cm dialted and 60% effaced but nothing much going on. Having braxton hicks and some mild cramping.

Im still here! Today is my EDD. DH and I spent the early hours of today in L&D only to be sent home because I was only 2cm dilated... I have been having contractions for 2 straight days now, and when walking/standing I can barely talk, or move. This transitional labor $ucks! lol...I cannot imagine what hard labor is going to feel like!
