August Mommies Thread...!

Beside s the gender thread I haven't seen one for the August moms yet....soooo, how is everyone doing? Are you still shopping? How's the nursery coming along? Have you have a shower yet (for first timers)? How are you feeling?

I am scheduled for a C/S on 8/29. I am 25 weeks today
This is #2 for me, so no shower this time (aww, bum! ). The nursery is gutted down to the studs and that's how it will be for weeks I bet .
Feeling good (besides my recent gall bladder attacks ). Hope everyone is doing well

I am due August 1st!
Had my 30 week appointment last week and all is good!

The nursey is painted. We are just waiting for the new shades and curtains to be delivered. We still have to paint the trim around the windows and doors. And DH has to put the molding down. We are having new carpeting installed next weekend

I believe my shower is this Sunday - June 1st. I was invited to an 80th bday party! Plus things have been flying off my registry. There isnt much stuff left right now! I added somethings over the weekend!

Due- Aug 20th (hopefully sooner!!)

Everything is going great. My shower is in the works (June 21) - things are coming off my registry really fast!

Nursery is in progress. We ordered the baby furniture last weekend- should be delivered within 4-5 weeks. We plan on moving all the boxes we have in the room now into the garage & hopefully start painting this Sunday. The border/Valence will go up the following week.

Feeling pretty good- no complaints. Just wish people would stop asking me How I'm feeling!!! I know they are concerned, but its beyond annoying!!!!!!!!! No crazy cravings, no over eating, no outrageous weight gain, but my ice cream consumption has gone through the roof- I cant get enough of it!!!!!!!!!!!

I am due 8/6 and feeling good, the baby is growing a lot, I have definitely grown in the past week!

My shower is not until the mid of July, I can't believe it...I seriously hope I make it!!

We just had the babies room spackled and it will be painted 6/2. Furniture is on order, and my BIL will be painting a mural on the wall of Tigger, I am soo excited!

I am due 8/14 - feeling good. Only minor aches and pains. the baby is moving a little bit more now still no consistency. My dh finally got to feel a poke yesterday.

I don't know when my shower is but some things have disappeared off the registry.

We haven't started the nursery maybe within the next week or two.

Hi every one. I'm due 8/2 and having a bay boy. This will be my first baby. I can't complain about how I've felt this entire pregnancy except right now I have a cold. Our nursery is pretty much done, well we painted, received the furniture and decorated. I still haven't had my shower yer, so the nursery is pretty much empty.

Due 8/28. Nursery is not even a thought. All we are working on right now is emptyng the room that will be her nursery. Our superstitions do not allow us to set one up, though the furniture and bedding has been purchased. Furniture will be in storage and delivered within a day or two of her birth. Bedding will be kept at my sister's house and washed the day I deilver. Im not concerned. It has worked this way for generations in my family.

As for me, I feel weighted down. Just large. The baby is moving rather well and frequently. I can't believe I hve a lil over 3 months to go to be a Mom.

My EDD is 8/18/08

The nursery furniture is being deliver 5/31 and my shower is 6/1. Since we are team we decided not to paint and decorate the room until the baby is here. I really either want to do it really girly or really boyish. I didnt want to settle on a nuetral.

As far as how I am feeling - I feel great except I have really bad ligament soreness that the dr said was a result of the weight of the uterus. It wont impact the baby but it can get really painful throughout the day. But is doing great! Kicking a lot more and I can finally see it on the outside of my belly

Just had another check-up. So far so good! But this kid already seems bigger than my first. DD was early so I think this one will be too.

We have a lot to do this month to get ready for DS. Seems like an endless list!!! I know we'll get there, but I wish I had a magic wand and all the stuff was ready!!

BUMP!!!

How is everyone?!! Our month is quickly approaching...are you gonna make it?! I know I cannot wait for the homestretch to be over and have in my arms!!! Not a huge pregnancy fan over here.

Feeling good, just had my 36 week check up, no progress yet!

My shower has yet to come, it may be this weekend, not 100% sure...

I feel overwhelmed like I have sooo much nesting still to do!!!
