Attention protesters..
..I don't care if you protest and hold up big signs and scream and yell to get your point across...just please do me a favor and don't block every entrance to the subway/bus stops or stand and block every corner! 
It took me 25 minutes to walk 2 blocks after work today! Ah, never a dull moment in the city. 
(Sorry - just had to vent)

LOL...it is all those crazy teachers! I refuse to support the UFT! When the union rep asked if I was going, I just looked at her...she should know better by now!

I know UFT was there..but there were actually quite a few other unions too - I got the dirt from the ladies at the bus stop . It was like one big union party. 
I don't mind usually, I mean working down there you are bound to have rallys/protests from time to time, but this was just awful (and very unorganized) today.

gotta love the super religious ones. I had a guy chase my DH and I down the subway with a pamphlet because I have full sleeve tattoos and he kept saying i needed jesus in my life. i said i do and i do believe in god and then he said "but you have tattoos" talk about ignorant?? as long as they don't chase me down or block entrances to places, i don't mind protesters. they truly believe in what they're protesting.

My union was there, I think I got 30 messages about it I'm part of 1199 SEIU, they also have a zillion tv commercials blasting Patterson.
