At what point did you consider yourself in the second trimester?
I am 12w6d today -- I am first trimester still, right? I googled and got 100 different answers. When did you/will you consider yourself to be second tri?

I went to the doctor when I was 13 weeks and she said I was pretty much in the 2nd trimester. I don't know if she looked at my records or how the baby was growing and decided that way. I have heard the 2nd starts in the 13th week or the 14th week. Every book and website says something different.

I just looked up when I would start my 3rd trimester and realized the 2nd trimester started on my 13 week.
I used pregnology.com and What to Expect.

Someone posted this a while ago and it's what I go by. It seems to make sense. What to Expect says the 3rd tri starts at week 28. Image Attachment(s):

1-13 first tri
14-26 second tri
27-40 third tri

i saw so many conflicting statements on this.
some were 12 week. some were end of 12 week beginning of 13 week. some were end of 13 week.
i knew for sure once i hit the start of week 14 that i was def 100% in 2nd trimester. so i considered that the 2nd tri bc there was no way I wasn't no matter what book, website or chart had listed.
