At what age did you take down the baby gates?
We have one staircase in our house and have gates at the top and bottom. DD will be 3 in a couple months.

bottom is already down for our 21 month old bc he climbs over. We still have the top one up bc dont want to risk any of my kids falling down in the middle of the nigt

We never had one at the bottom and we are not taking the top down anytime soon. DS is 2

I took down my baby gate this year for my five year old at the top of the stairs. The other ones I don't remember!
ETS: the only reason we took it down was because it broke. Otherwise, I would have left it!

None at the bottom - top is still up and my DSs are 3 and 6. Don't want to risk them falling in the middle of the night

We never had one at the bottom. DS is not in the upstairs BR's yet so we didn't have to put a gate at the top of the stairs.

I took it down when my youngest turned 4 years old. I personally would have kept it up longer but DH thought it could come down.
