At what age did DC get attached to teddy bear, blankie etc
Just curious. DD is 4.5 and loves her "clifford" pink dog but I don't remember when she began the attachment. DS is 6 months and I am wondering if he is becoming "attached" to his bear.
At what age did you notice an attachment?

DD really didnt become attached to anything til she turned 2....now its all about this pink ragdoll - she takes it everywhere with her!

He has had a blankie since he was about 3 months old, he always favored this one. But we could get away with swapping them out until the past month. He definately favors the original blankie and a very similar one that we had to buy off ebay!

Same here, although DD is 16 months.
She does like to carry something around the house with her though-- pants, blanket, stuffed animal, etc., but she's not particular and anything will do.

Kaitee didn't have a lovey until she was two. Brooke was almost one when she started loving her sock monkey.

Probably about 6 months. I wanted to break DD of the attachment to me at night so I kept forcing this blankie on her. Now at 2....she can't function without it!

By 3 months he was attached to Mr Lion. (His stuffed lion) We couldn't go out without him in the carseat or he screamed bloody murder.

DD is not attached to one particular blankie but she needs a blankie to sleep...this has been since she was like 3 months. She puts it over her face. Of course I take it from her once shes asleep but she definitely needs it.

LOL we were able to swap DD's '"Clifford" for a while but then one day "Clifford w/ the crust on his nose" won out. Now there is NO substitute

DD is 18 months old and just in the past 2-3 weeks she has become attached to a pink bunny that she has. She calls it baby. She now brings it everywhere and naps and sleeps with it. I think it's adorable. She'll hug and kiss it and wrap it in a blanket . It's very cute.

Never... the only thing she attached to was the paci. I tried SO many things but she never grew an attachment to anything and now that the paci is gone, she has nothing!

DS is 5.5 and never had an attachment. DD is 2.5 and no attachment, either.

No attachment during the day to anything. He does not carry anythinga around. He does need a blanket at night though for him to fall asleep. He loves the softness of it and it's comfort.

I really cant remember - DD has been attached to this little giraffe/blankie thing since day 1. And when she was maybe 4 months or so she got a little stuffed dog. She's now 18 months and those two lovies have gone everywhere with her. They are never out of her sight.
