Well, I am admittedly on the "super cautious" side, and DD is almost 15 months and sleeps with nothing in her crib. Not only is it b/c I'm paranoid about safety, but also b/c we don't want her to HAVE to have something specific to sleep.

DS has been sleeping with one of those lovey-blanket- stuffed animal things since he was about 7 months. It's small though so I never felt it posed a danger.

Christopher has slept with his blankie since he was born. Now he has between 4-6 of them in his crib along with other various creatures at 16 months.

this is lamby. It's been Kailey's buddy since birth
We have been struggling with nighttime and I thought maybe with it in there with her she would feel better and not cry?

DS sleeps with a bunch of toys but I go in and move them to the edge and take a few out each night. It's funny b/c I am scared to let him have a blanket. He just gets a warm sleeper.
