At least I got a chuckle....
I was just talking to my dad who lives in florida. Apparently he had to cut the conversation short because there was a large snake in the room. Knowing my dad, he's going to try to do an indiana jones and try to catch it himself. I called my sister to tell her and after she stopped laughing, she said she was going to call the exterminator and go pick my up my dad before he tries anything.

Dad had to kill the snake 
He tried to capture and release it, but couldnt.
He said he spoke to a neighbor that helped him and it seems it quite a problem in the neighborhood. They have a number to call in cases like this, but no surprise that no one picked up.
Dad was so glad my mom wasnt home because in his words "She would have sh*t herself"
