At how many weeks do you schedule Lamaze and how many weeks do you acutally attend the class?

Our doctor offers a birthing class. It's ot called lamaze and I am 26 weeks. Although the 3 other girls in the class were 30ish weeks. The class meets twice. The first time we met at the doctor and it was a 3 hour class. I thought it was pretty informative. Went over a whole bunch of stuff like stages of labor, breathing, what happans during the delivery and touched a little on c-sections and breastfeeding. We will meet again Tuesday for a hospital tour that is an hour long.

We registered for the class around 22 weeks. I thought this was early but there were only 4 spots left at the time, so I'm glad we did it that early.

We'll be taking the class when I'm 34 weeks. It's just 1 weekend. They should tell you when to take the class when you register.
