Does anyone know of any environmental agencies who can come and remove aspestos, we need to do improvements on our home but discovered our house is covered in itit is all under the shingles, Thank you for any Help

if its exterior aspetos shingles they usually cover over it when doing siding. You wouldn't pay to remove it. BUT if its thick shake they remove it with out having someone special come in.

but if your asking to remove aspestos wrappings, inside stuff i will see if i can find the number i had when we looked at a house that needed stuff removed.

it is exterior but we need to dormer so i figured it would get disturbed and we would need to remove it, im just worried cause my daughters respitory health is comprimised

asbestos in shingle form is not dangerous unless it is broken up and then you inhale the dust. If the shingles are intact then they pose no harm. If it is say asbestos pipe insulation then I would have it removed.

I have worked in commercial construction for over 15 yrs and have seen asbestos in many forms and most if not disturbed do not pose a threat to you.

Yeah, generally it will only pose a threat if it's falling apart and the fibers begin to get in the air.
