My best friend had to rush her 2 week old dd to the hospital saturday night. She said she heard her dd breathing funny and when she looked at her it looked like she was foaming At the mouth. She immediately thought the baby was having a seizure and rushed her to the hospital. But she stayed completely aware and was not out of it and the drs said it was not a seizure. Itlooked like she was sittig up foam and everytime they wiped her mouth more came out. At first I was like the color of milk and than it turned clear.

She lives in Vermont so it's not a hospital around here. Although a pediatric dr saw her dd, its not a specialist. She's been in the hospital since saturday night and her breathing is fine and there have been no more episodes but it scares her she they have no idea what it was or what caused it. Bthe ER dr told her she had never seen this. They have run a ton of gets and everything has come back normal n

I was thinking it was a combo or reflux and mucus and maybe she started choking on it???? I don't know. Has anyone had any experience with something like this?
