Asbestos Removal
DH and I just bought a house that has a tiny amount of asbestos in the basement. We want to remove it or cover it up before we move in but we are unsure as to the best procedure. Has anyone had experience with this? TIA!

Your inspector didn't find it. Have you closed yet?

We bought our house through family and we knew about the small amount of asbestos beforehand.

Re: Asbestos Removal
I'd cover it if it is in floor tile or something that is unlikely to become friable. If it's insulating pipes or something like that, I would look into removal.
