Re: Aruba again!!!
I prefer the private dining on the beach. Quite a few hotels have this and you can inquire about it at the front desks. However, if you are fine with eating on the beach close to other couples, Simply Fish at the Marriott was very good!
My top 5 restaurants/suggestions: -Flying Fishbone (also sort of on the beach, some tables you have your feet in the water!) -Papiamento -Ruinas Del Mar at the Hyatt -Sunset Grille (for breakfast/brunch) -Texas de Brazil

Re: Aruba again!!!
to add most to-do things:
JEEP TOUR through depalm tours... CANNOT rave about this enough. There is two you can choose from, baby beach (far side of the island) and the natural pool (lighthouse side)... we chose the natural pool/lighthouse one and it was SO much fun and so beautiful. They take you all over the 1/2 island that you choose and you stop and great places to take photos. Ours went to this abandoned gold mine ruins, a natural bridge, a natural pool (which they give you snorkeling gear and you get to see some pretty cool fish), a church, etc.
The Butterfly Farm!! DH and I made the mistake of going on our last day or two of our trip. GO IN THE BEGINNING because your ticket will be good for your ENTIRE stay, so you can go back for free as much as you want. We wished we had this option and felt a little ripped off not knowing that was the case. It is not expensive at all, I feel like it was only $5 or something, but you don't want to spend a TON of time there, but it's nice to be able to go maybe once or twice extra and see again.
Watching the sunset (Also can't beat this activity in aruba) and it's free... however I recommend:
The Sunset Sail from depalm tours. We had this included in our honeymoon package, but if we go back we would def. do it again. It is a nice smooth sail, around the different hotels, to watch the sunset and it's free alcohol, all you can drink, while you are on the ship and they also give a free snacks (nothing special or that good with the snacks though, so don't expect too much). I love the Aruba Ariba alcoholic punch though- so delicious!!!!!
Relaxing at the beach and pool (you just can't beat it there)
If you like water sports, they also have tubing, parasailing, jet skis, etc.

No, personally (especially b4 kids) I'd want to stay on the beach as long as possible. THe sunset is the best (unless you're going to dinner on the beach to watch the sunset). DH and I would wait to watch the sunset then go in to get ready. Usual dinner reservations are around 8PM. I notice that's when a lot of people go out or even later. Have fun!

Gianni's Madame Jeanette Chalet Suisse Gasparito Pampiamento
We went skydiving last time we went... it was amazing! Butterfly farm is nice and quick also never did the ATV's and jeeps, but its an option we love just laying on the beach, being poolside, eating, drinking and going to the casino!

No def. keep those. Passions is necessary to have a 6:30 that is prime time. You WANT to eat before, during and after the sunset, which that time will provide. We always eat late at home (8ish) but in Aruba... we always eat around 6:30. it's the most romantic time.
Gianni's is sort of indoors, so you can make that one later if you want.
Never been to Madame Janette's so I don't know.
But i think 630 is great ESPECIALLY if it is outdoors, like Passions.

Everyone is different I'd keep Passions to watch the sunset Up to you about the other places. DH and I like to spend as much time on the beach on vaca as possible. THis way we don't need to go in early to get ready We like to chill on the beach then go in, get ready at our own pace, have a glass of wine then head out that's just us. If you want to stick with 6:30 that's fine too Madame Janette's is so good. You'll enjoy Never been to Passions, but maybe DH and I will go there next time (when my IL's babysit the boys... LOL) Have a great time WHen are you going? We're going next month!

Re: Aruba again!!!
You HAVE to go to El Gaucho's!!! We also went to an Italian restaurant across from the Hyatt, it was set kind of far back and it had a long name...it was seriously the BEST food I think I've ever eaten in my life! I wish I could remember the name!!!
I found it... Hostaria Da Vittorio is the name.

Re: Aruba again!!!
Flying Fishbone is awesome, particularly if you can get a table in the water. We got one where the water lapped over our feet, and it was incredible. Food was amazing!
Passions on the Beach had the best sunset.
We also had great views at the italian restaurant at the lighthouse...I can't think of the name right now.
Our first night there, we ate at Barefoot Restaurant, which was also very good.
