DH got very sick. He wasn't able to finish the painting.  I have my fingers crossed for Wednesday to be move in day.
On a happy moving note, my kitchen is 90% moved in. All the stuff I got at the bridal shower has been making its way over and into the dishwasher and into cabinets.

Oh no, I'm really sorry to hear you are delayed. Could you move next week? One week later isn't so bad, though I know you must be eager to get settled into your home quickly.

You'll get there!!! At least you're partially moving things over - every little bit helps!

Next weekend we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. We're not even going to be around on Saturday & Sunday.
I really really really wanted to be in our new home making an anniversary dinner on the actual day, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

Thanks Cin. What really stinks about this is how sick DH is. Not being able to move is just a disappointment that will subside when it actually happens. But DH left work early today, for only the second time since we met, and is now home asleep, so Wednesday is out for moving as well.
I guess we're looking at the weekend of the 12th.
I'm just going to keep bringing all the little stuff over every night, so that when the time finally gets here it is just the big furniture.

Wow, he's like me!! In the time Kevin and I have been together I've only left work early once!! Ok, not the point...
I just hope he's feeling better. But at least you're not the one who's sick. 
I recommend bringing stuff over little by little, that's what we did and it really made it easier in the end.

It stinks you had to push back your move-in date, but on the other hand, its nice to be able to move things in slowly. But we thought we were doing that also and know there are boxes and crap all over our dining room!
I hope your DH feels better soon!
