are your pillows yellow?
I just don't know what we're doing at night! Plus, I have the removable pillow covers that I bleach and they are NOT yellow but the pillows are
I don't really wash my pillows but I guess I should regularly. Not that it would make a difference once they're already yellowed.
I should say I sometimes go to sleep with wet hair so that could be a clue.

Re: are your pillows yellow?
time to buy new ones.....
IMO they are disposable and we get new ones about every 6 months.
The yellow is probably a mix of sweat/dead skin/drool/ etc.
Wet hair makes it worse as I do the same and my pillow is much nastier than DH's
gross yes but just a part of life I guess

Re: are your pillows yellow?
our pillow covers and mattress pad are yellow, but not the pillows themselves. i think it's b/c DH is always hot and therefore sweats! i just washed the pillow covers and they seem ok now, but i think i'm just going to get a new mattress pad. i need new pillows anyway b/c after 2 years they are flat. i just never know what kind to get!!

If you can fold your pillow over in half, and it does not bounce back then it is time to get a new pillow. I get new pillows every 3 years.

Re: are your pillows yellow?
I read somewhere that after one year, your pillow is 80% dead cells......not sure if that is true or not, but that gave me the willies
