ETA.. I watched fensing for the first time today and saw USA sweep all the medals.. it was pretty cool

I watched womans beach volleyball when I was getting my nails done.
I want to watch table tennis and handball. No particular reason, I just cant believe how that is considered an olympic sport

DH is pretty into it. I've been watching a bit. I'm a little sad that Judo can only be watched at 2 a.m. online because I took Judo for 6 years, so that was the one sport I was really interested in.

I'm watching like a hawk. Two guys I know are competing. One took fourth today and the other got a bronze medal. 
Although, the guy that got the bronze is not necessarily the nicest guy. Shhhhh!

my family always watched it when i was younger but as i moved out on my own i only watched it occasionally and dh is so not into sports (he gives me a hard time if i want to watch a baseball game) there is no way he would watch the olympics

We've been DVRing most of the NBC footage. We'll watch large portions of it. I always admire athletes who are at the top of their sport, even though they aren't getting huge multi-million dollar salaries. Some countries have one athlete from entire country. Many countries have never won a single medal, but still compete. There are so many back-stories to many of the athletes. It's just a fascinating display of the human body, spirit, and drive.

My favorite event has always been swimming. The men's 4x100 swim relay last night was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
