Are you still OPKing, temping & charting?
My FF membership expired and I'm trying to decide if its worth it to pay $45 for the renewal.
While going through IF, are you still temping & charting or just leaving everything in the hands of your RE?
I'd love to toss the thermometer but at the same time I'd love to see a chart after all this time!

Re: Are you still OPKing, temping & charting?
i charted every medicated cycle until IVF. i like it because now i have an exact chart of everything i did those cycles. that being said it could be confusing and slightly stressful to chart during medicated cycles because your chart may be off a bit from both your normal cycle and from what the sonos and bloodwork show. it can be stressful when its really not necessary to have stress over it, since a good RE will have basic control of your cycle and you dont NEED to worry about charting. i would only do it if you want it for your own reference, you def shouldnt HAVE to do it to track your cycle once you are seeing an RE.
as for OPKs i stopped them as soon as started medicated cycles. completely pointless since you will be monitored and the doctor will tell you when you are surging. i find that OPKs were MORE stressful than anything else during a medicated cycle, cause they dont always show ovulation when they should, or sometimes they show it when its not really happening. unless your RE tells you to use them (which i personally dont agree with but thats just my opinion) then i would ditch the OPKs.

I stopped everything once I started going to the RE. For me, all of that was stressful and it was a relief to put it in their hands.

Amen to that. I've been stressing out this month, apparently unnecessarily, because of my temps.
On the other hand, though, my temps helped quell my fears about not ovulating after my LH surge (I now know that I did), and they'll help me know when to test. I'm going to try to hold out until I get at least 12 high temps in a row (my last LP was only 10 days)... 8 more to go...
