Are these signs to start potty training
DS keeps trying to pull off his diaper...he doesn't like to wear it and picks the lint off of it. When it's wet even just a little he will whine and grab it - when i ask him if he wants a clean diaper he says yes. If i ask him if he went poo poo he will tell me - but he doesn't tell me before he goes. He is only 1 1/2 so I'm not sure if he is ready to potty train already? Also if I do start potty training where do i even start?? What do i need to buy? I figured a potty seat and underwear, but how many underwear do they need? This whole process feels completely overwhelming!

DD is only 15 months but she's been waking up dry for a while now and is starting to tell us when she poops. I got her a potty and figured I'd take it slow and see what happens. So far I just sit her on it before baths when she's undressed and put her on it (clothed) whenever I catch her pooping to get her to make the connection. So far she hasn't actually gone in it yet. I want to start putting her on it first thing when she wakes up which I think may work.
