I used them. Can't say they did much though.

Re: are teething tablets safe
I'm not a fan of them and I dont trust them. During the time I had asked a pharmacist about it and we went over the ingredients: one of which is belladonna (deadly night shade). Although the company insists that taking it small amounts is not harmful, I dont trust it. The pharmacist also did not recommend it because the belladonna decreases stomach emptying and he was on medicine for reflux at the time.

Re: are teething tablets safe
My mom bought the Hyland's teething tablets bc she swears they worked for me and my sister. Of course I asked the ped and she said she'd rather stay we avoid them. Something about "natural" ingredients in them that haven't been tested.
So we never used them. Just used (and still do) Tylenol and orajel.

Re: are teething tablets safe
I remember hearing that gels were not recc. for infants..that the numbing can effect breathing/swallowing..so be careful..
i put a wet wash cloth in the freezer rolled up and it seems to sooth him.
Good luck.

I used Hylands when all else failed(tylenol). Definitely helped.
